ABOUT US

Hebán was born today, but its roots run deep—into a family that has lived and breathed manufacturing for three generations, with dedication, pragmatism, and vision.

HEBAN

THE ORIGINS

It all began in the 1960s in Borgosesia, nested in Northern Italy’s textile heartland around Biella. Our grandfather Enzo founded AMICA, a knitwear company that laid the foundation of our family’s craft.
In the early ’70s, our father Arturo took the helm at a young age. With the knitwear industry in difficulty, he shifted focus to swimwear production.
With time, experience, and in response to a rapidly changing and demanding market, CIGIEFFE – the name the company had adopted – built collaborations with some of the most respected Italian and French fashion houses.
Over the years, one thing has never changed: the belief that it’s always worth doing things well—and doing them right.

ONCE UPON A TIME THERE WAS A SMALL WORKSHOP

A STORY LIVED FROM THE INSIDE

We grew up among sewing machines and bolts of fabric. For us, the “workshop” was the daily after school base, with grandparents at work, carts transformed into chariots, and a wall where dad measured, almost every day, our height.

We remember endless journeys on a boiling Ducato to deliver mountains of boxes full of
costumes, trips in stages to collect garments sewn at home, the concern and commitment of dad in ferrying his small company through years of epochal change for
the Italian and global textile industry.
We belong to this world!

A SIMPLE QUESTION

WHY HEBÁN

We decided to launch our brand to give voice to our vision: we want to offer well-made products that last, at a fair price, for everyone, from the supplier to the end consumer.

We want to talk to those who buy with their head and heart, not for fashion. Hebán is our attempt to do business with responsibility and transparency: we produce only what is needed, and we cut where others inflate; we will not make everyone happy, but we will remain faithful to what we believe in.

THE CHALLENGE

WHO WE ARE TODAY

Giacomo is the production man: attentive, aesthetic, operational. Federico has his head in numbers and his hands in fabric. We are different, but united by a promise: to remain faithful to what has brought us here.
And if Hebán is taking shape today, it is also thanks to those who support us every day and to those who want to be part of our history.
